If somebody loves me… well prove it and buy this lil’ etsy item for me!

This is going on the wishlist BIGTIME! There’s books, an owl, teacup, blonde hair, big hips and glasses. I love it.
This is a weekend of studying, or so I keep telling myself. Hopefully it works out that way and I don’t get too distracted by the sunshine and gorgeous weather. We’ll see. I keep getting distracted by that cute owl over there…
I feel like quite the grown up these days. I have learned to eat tomatoes this week. Pretty impressive, I know. It all started with having them as a pizza topping. Next I decided to leave them on my BLT sandwich, normally they would be removed as quickly as possible, so the nasty juices wouldn’t touch anything else on the plate. Then yesterday I actually sliced one and added it to my sandwich, so I had my veggie intake for the day. I’m pretty overwhelmed by it all. I was trying to think of another veggie to add to the diet, but I’m going to stick with my baby steps. I don’t want too much excitement too quickly.

Much better learning curve than me. After years of feeling as if I must be missing out on something, I finally left a tomato slice on my hamburger last summer. It added juiciness to a dry burger, but, otherwise, it still insulted my mouth due to the slime factor. I love pico de gallo, though. What’s that about?

I guess it is the slime factor. blech. I have to have avocado with it for balance. They’re not bad when they’re chopped up and have lost the slime, like salsa or pico de gallo. I’m relieved we’re the normal ones here. whew. I haven’t braved the hamburger yet. I’m impressed.

Eating a tomato (right off the vine) like a apple is the BEST!
